Edit a draft or story on HackerNoon is simple. Follow these following 2 ways.
Edit Draft or Published Story Via Your Dashboard
- Sign in
- Visit your Dashboard (you can also click on
dashboardunder your thumbnail) - Click on Draft or Published
- Locate the edit button next to the trash button of the draft or story and click on it
- You will be directed to the draft link.
- Edit to your heart content
- If it's a draft, click
Saveand your edits are good to go - If it's a story, click
Save and Publishand you will be directed to your story URL on hackernoon.com - Wait 10-15 minutes for the cache to clear, and refresh your URL to see your change reflected
Edit Published Story Via Your Dashboard
- Locate the
Edit storybutton next to the Published Date of your story and click on it - You will be directed to the draft link
- Edit to your heart content
- If it's a draft, click
Saveand your edits are good to go - If it's a story, click
Save and Publishand you will be directed to your story URL on hackernoon.com - Wait 10-15 minutes for the cache to clear, and refresh your URL to see your change reflected
